Bangkok MRT fare of a Single Journey Ticket, which is valid for a single journey, depends on the chosen destination, starting at 16 Baht , up to 42 Baht per journey on one line and up to 70 Baht if you’re changing lines on your journey.
Bangkok Metro is the underground metro rail system of Bangkok city in Thailand . It is officially known as the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and is a part of the Bangkok Rail Transit Network (BRTN).
MRT runs from 6 am – 12 am everyday. Keep in mind that the station gates will be closed approximately about 10 minutes before the last train arrives the station.

This comprises the $1 travel fare and the 10 cents deposit. Passenger pays amount as per the travel fare for the second trip.

MRT PLUS / MANGMOOM Cards – Student For a student age not over 23 years old. ID Card or Student Card must be presented when required. Each top-up must be at least 100 baht and the total value must not exceed 2,000 baht. Can be issued at Purple Line ticket offices. Can be used at all stations of Blue and Purple lines.
The Metropolitan Rapid Transit or MRT is a mass rapid transit system serving the Bangkok Metropolitan Region in Thailand. The two MRT lines have 470,000 passengers each day (Blue line 400,000 & Purple line 70,000) with 45 operational stations and a combined route length of 60 kilometers (37 mi).
