Statistically, Malaysia is probably safer than Thailand . But if you consider how much partying, drinking and prostitution goes on in Thailand , it’s actually not bad at all. How safe is it to travel in big cities like Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur? Very safe .

Bangkok is multiple times better than Kuala Lumpur in many aspects. Spend atleast 1 week in Bangkok and 4 days in KL . Bangkok traffic slightly congested than KL . Public transport almost the same, in Bangkok there are MRT underground train, BTS sky train, airport rail link, BRT, cab, motorcycle taxi and tuk tuk tuk.
One of the reasons why a vacation to a far away country such as Malaysia can be relatively cheap is due to the fact that costs of daily living are very low. With around RM100 per day you can already have a great time in this country. Of course you can spend as you want.

THAILAND IS FAR BETTER ! it is way cheaper and has a lot to offer than Singapore . Singapore is good too, But it doesn’t offer you much like Thailand and is at least 5 times more expensive than Thailand ! The public transport is equally good but cheaper in Thailand .
While it is preferable to wear pants in Kuala Lumpur, it is fine to wear skirts and shorts . Just don’t wear β short shorts β or mini skirts. Mid-thigh shorts and skirts are generally sufficient. The worst thing that could happen is that you will a few looks from the locals.
