This is a list of Thailand ‘s official representatives and their placements at the Big Four international beauty pageants, considered the most important in the world. The country has a total of fifty-two placements and won three victories: Two — Miss Universe crowns (1965 • 1988) One — Miss International crown (2019)
Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines crowned her successor Iris Mittenaere of France at the end of the event. After waiting 63 years, this is the second time France has won the Miss Universe title, following Christiane Martel in 1953.
The reigning Miss Universe Thailand is Amanda Obdam from Phuket. She will represent Thailand at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant later this year.
The country which has received the most titles – eight – from the U.S. -based organization behind the Miss Universe pageant was the United States themselves. Yet, Venezuela and the Philippines made it to the top of the ranking with none – or just a little – help from a friendly organizing committee.

According to Angelopedia, Miss Universe 2020 will take place in the first trimester of 2021. ” There are so many schedules of events and activities also being disclosed which show that the finale might happen either in February or at the end of March next year,” a source told Angelopedia.
The reigning Miss Thailand 2019 is Sireethorn Leearamwat from Bangkok. Leearamwat became Miss International 2019 on 12 November 2019.

Miss Universe rules clearly state that pageant contestants cannot be married or pregnant: “They must not have ever been married , not had a marriage annulled nor given birth to, or parented a child,” it says on the organization’s website. Plus, “titleholders are also required to remain unmarried throughout their reign.”
Aside from the job, the winner also receives a cash allowance for her entire reign, a New York Film Academy scholarship, a modelling portfolio, beauty products, clothes, shoes, as well as styling, healthcare, and fitness services by different sponsors of the pageant.

Jennifer Paweensuda “Fahsai” Drouin, 25, was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2019 on Saturday night over 56 other contestants – fulfilling the half-Canadian beauty’s goal after at least six years on the pageant circuit.
