Following the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) announcement prohibiting international flights into Thailand until 30 June 2020, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited ( THAI ) has to suspend operations for one more month in June 2020.
Thailand failed, and 26 safety issues were found. These ratings are based on the overall safety standards of the country, unrelated to any particular airline . So I’d continue to fly Thai Airways without hesitation, as I still think they’re a safe airline .

Thai Airways put a hold on issuing refunds in June because it started proceedings with the country’s Central Bankruptcy Court. That doesn’t necessarily mean the airline is going bankrupt, but it means the court is overseeing the airline’s restructuring efforts. The airline is keeping them valid until the end of 2022.
